California Coast Credit Union said President and CEO Todd Lane is a finalist for the San Diego Business Journal’s 2026 CEO of the Year Award in the business nonprofit category.
According to the credit union, Lane has overseen growth past $3 billion in assets and a membership of more than 200,000 in Southern California. Lane said the recognition reflects governance, growth, and community programs.
The announcement said the Cal Coast Cares Foundation, established in 2015, has awarded more than $1.5 million in teacher grants and student scholarships, including a program for current and former foster youth. During Lane’s tenure, Cal Coast opened a student financial center on the San Diego State University campus and two branches: Spectrum Innovation in Kearny Mesa and a Logan Heights location described as one of the first financial institutions in that part of southeastern San Diego.
