Adjoin plans downtown art fundraiser for veterans and disability programs

Adjoin announced Canvas + Cuisine for a Cause on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m. at The Hyangle Art Gallery, 710 13th Street, San Diego, CA 92101.

According to the statewide nonprofit, $50 tickets include food, beer, and wine, a silent auction, and a look at abstract work from the gallery. Owner and painter Stephen Williams said he will donate 50% of art sold that night to Adjoin’s work with veteran families and people with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities in San Diego County. Adjoin said it has provided independence and housing-stability support for more than 40 years and recently opened ARTE, a workspace where adults with IDD can develop art skills and microenterprises. Williams previously led a mindfulness art workshop for Adjoin artists.
