Earlier dance nights start at Solana Beach’s Belly Up

San Diego organizers Max Gold and Amal Chandaria announced Earlier, a 21-and-over dance series designed so guests can be home by 10:30 p.m.
According to the announcement, the pair are local artists and surfers who started the concept after a 2 a.m. birthday night caused them to miss morning waves. Gold compared the format to a North County beach party at sunset: an open dance night with drinks that still leaves time to sleep. The first event was July 29 at Belly Up in Solana Beach. A follow-up was scheduled for September 23 at Belly Up with DJs Senzo, Mr. Bold, and Sonny Olivera. The listing was posted on bellyup.com.
