Terra Biological says Oxaloacetate CFS can be bought with HSA/FSA

Terra Biological LLC announced that eligible customers can use Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account funds to buy Oxaloacetate CFS, a medical food the company markets for ME/CFS and Long COVID fatigue.

According to the San Diego firm, the payment option is offered through HSA/FSA intermediary Truemed and is intended to lower out-of-pocket cost. Chief science officer Alan Cash said many people with ME/CFS cannot work full time and that easier payment is one step toward access. The company also listed free resources, including a wellness and symptom-tracking journal and therapist-designed guided meditations. Purchase details were posted at oxaloacetatecfs.com.

Terra Biological said it is a family-owned research company founded in San Diego in 2006, with oxaloacetate products developed from research it associated with UC San Diego, UCLA, and UC Riverside.
